Dit pand is waarschijnlijk rond 1900 gebouwd als stalhouderij van Hendrik Hoegen Dijkhof jr. (geb. 1864) Zijn vader had ook al een stalhouderij aan de Dorpstraat tegenover het raadhuis. Hendrik was getrouwd met Aleida Johanna Hermans en ze hadden drie zonen.

Vanaf 12 november 1920 vinden we hier de koetsier Cornelis Driendijk. Hij runde hier de NV. Apeldoornsche Manége en Rijtuig-Maatschappij.

Vanaf ca. 1937 wordt het "Parkgarage" van J. Dijkgraaf en in ongeveer 1948 gaat de zaak over in handen van H. Telgen en zn. Dit bedrijf heeft er tot op het laatst gezeten tot het gebouw uiteindelijk tegen de vlakte ging en er deze twee woningen gebouwd zijn. Er was nogal wat bezwaar tegen de bouw van deze woningen en in de krant werden ze zelfs "misbaksels" genoemd.
