Notes about Arij Claasse van den Bree Vaert

 


Arij leefde de laatste jaren van de bedeling. De diaconie van de armen rekent af over de jaren 1767-1770 (NH-kerk). In de jaren '70-'75 ontvangt hij linnen, wol en wollegoed. Lambert Schouten, meester chirurgijn scheert hem ook nog in 1775 vanuit de bedeling. De doodskist van Arij wordt gemaakt door Cornelis van Dalen. De begrafenis is volgens het Gaardersregister bepaalt op "classis nihil". De diaconie betaalde 26 jaar pachtgeld en ook nog eens 7 jaar schaftgeld.


Na de dood van Arij en Jannigje van 't Hof werd het huisje en inboedel verkocht voor f.30-6-0. Na naftrek openstaande rekeningen werd een gelijke portie naar de diaconie van Mijnsheerenland overgedaan. (Archief NH-kerk B1 1775.)
