Cornelis en zijn vrouw verhuizen op een zeker moment (na 1741) naar Werkendam alwaar de kinderen verder opgroeien. Later verhuist het gezin naar Rotterdam waar ook alle huwelijken van de 4 kinderen zijn terug te vinden. Bij alle huwelijken van de kinderen wordt vermeld dat het kind uit Werkendam komt en daar geboren is.

Dit klopt dus niet helemaal maar aangezien er geen ander gezin Ambachtsheer in Werkendam verbleef en we in Rotterdam een Adriana, Teuntje, Bastiaan en Sijgje op dee manier terugvinden bestaat er geen twijvel dat het dit gezin betreft.
