!In zijn huwelijks acte staat, dat beiden roomskatoliek waren. Van hun kinderen

is ook niets te vinden in de hervormde doopboeken van Ooststelingwerf. Deze

kinderen vermeld Eijldert, dec 1811 te Oldeberkoop als hij de familienaam

aanneemt van "Sloot" zijn voornaam wordt dan "Eiler" geschreven.

Hij is op 5may1814 te Oldeberkoop aanwezig bij het huwelijk van zijn dochter

Trijntje (deze Trijntje wordt in haar huwelijksacte Catarina genoemd) omdat ze

katoliek waren is dit wel mogelijk zal dit nog nader onderzoeken. Eijldert is

dan ruim 80 jaar oud (in deze acte is te lezen .... en tachtig jaar) zijn vrouw

is omstreeks 1800/1801 overleden te Oldeberkoop.(25oct1990/H.H.)
