    De familie Lublink in de bakkerij aan de Burenlaan te Hollum.

    Op dat moment komt de familie Lublink in beeld. We hebben gezien dat Grietje Bakker is getrouwd met Wybo Dominicus Lublink. Wybo is timmerman en als zodanig betrokken bij het herstel van de kerktoren in Hollum in 1896. Zo hebben ze elkaar op Ameland ontmoet. Ze trouwen in 1902.

    De vader van Wijbo Dominicus is Paulus Weslingh Lublink en zijn moeder Sijbrichje Sjoerds Osinga. Paulus Weslingh Lublink heeft, en dat kun je bijna wel raden, een bakkerij in Berlikum. De aankoop van huis en bakkerij wordt gedaan in 1869 .Deze Paulus Weslingh is op 11 september 1845 geboren te Oldeboorn. Hij overlijdt op 31 januari 1905.

    De vader van de eerste Paulus Weslingh Lublink is Wijbo Dominicus Hanekuik Lublink. Getrouwd met Geertje Annes van Dijk. Deze eerste Paulus is van beroep zilversmid en woonachtig in Oldeboorn. De familie is afkomstig van Amsterdam. Cornelis Nicolaas Lublink (ca 1618) is de oudst bekende Lublink. Nicolaas Lublink en Geertruida Hanekuijk vestigen zich halverwege de 18e eeuw in Friesland en zo ontstaat de Friese tak van de familie.

    Wijbo en Grietje trouwen op Ameland maar gaan wonen in Berlikum. Daar worden ook de 7 jongens geboren die met Wijbo en Grietje het gezin vormden. Als beroep wordt in alle geboorteaktes steeds timmerman vermeld. In 1915 koopt Wybo een huis met erf in Berlikum, twee jaar later in 1917 doet hij twee percelen in Berlikum van de hand. Gelet op de prijs van het ene perceel zou dit het huis met erf kunnen zijn. Is dit wellicht naar aanleiding van het vertrek van het gezin naar Ameland?

    Paulus Weslingh, de latere bakker in Hollum, is de oudste van de kinderen en geboren in 1903. In 1904 volgt Cornelis, hij zou later een aannemersbedrijf hebben. In 1905 wordt Sjoerd geboren. Hij had een smederij in het huis aan de Burenlaan waar nu Henderikus IJnsen woont, maar vertrok later naar België. In 1908 volgt Piet, bekend van de Herberg de Zwaan. In 1910 wordt Sybren geboren hij wordt slechts 5 dagen oud en in 1912 Sijbe (Siebe) Hij vestigt zich later als bakker op Terschelling. In 1916 volgt als laatste zoon Ellert. Hij heeft later een boerderij in de Burenlaan. Sjoerd, Piet en Siebe zijn alle drie eerst nog zeeman geweest.

    Omstreeks 1919 verhuist het gezin van Wijbo en Grietje naar Ameland. Daar gaat Wijbo o.a. aan de slag als bouwopzichter bij de gemeente Ameland. Verder werkt hij als timmerman, tekenaar, aannemer en als boer. Het feit dat de oudste zoon Paulus als bakkersknecht aan de slag kon bij zijn tante Antje kan een belangrijke rol hebben gespeeld bij de verhuizing. Paulus kan natuurlijk als jongetje al geholpen hebben in de bakkerij van opa Lublink in Berlikum en hij is dan 16 jaar een leeftijd waarin je in die tijd al volledig bakkersknecht kon zijn!

    Wijbo overlijdt op 8 april 1961, hij is dan 87 jaar. Grietje overlijdt ruim een jaar later op 22 december 1962.
