Hendrik en Willempje, woonden in de periode 1920 tot 1939 aan de Bususelterweg 27. In 1937 werd de woning onbewoonbaar verklaard, en overigens pas in 1964 afgebroken.
Zij verhuisden in 1939 naar een huis aan de Schierbosweg nr. 3 te Darp.
Hun zoon Hendrik (geb. woont daar nu nog), gehuwd met Margje Oort.

Notes about Willempje Hilberts

Willempje Hilberts verloor al op 8-jarige leeftijd haar moeder. Vanwege het ambulante beroep van haar vader werd zij en haar jongere zus Hendrikje in het Armenhuis te Havelte geplaatst. Daar verbleef zij tot haar 18e jaar. Op die leeftijd w
ist ze een plaats als dienstmeid te krijgen bij een boer in Nijeveen; welke kans ze met beide handen aangreep.Op de route naar haar werk in Nijeveen kwam ze langs de Busselterweg, waar ze kennis kreeg aan Hendrik Tuit, die daar met zijn ouders woonde; zij trouwden in 1935. In het begin van de Tweede Wereldoorlog wisten ze de hand te leggen op een kleine boerderij aan de Schierbosweg te Darp, zodat ze hun eigen bedrijf konden beginnen. Hendrik bleef echter ook melkrijden voor de Melkfabriek. Door een ongelukkig ongeval kwam Hendrik in 1955 te sterven tijdens zijn werk als melkrijder. Willempje stond er alleen voor. Dank zij de hulp van haar zus Hendrikje, die getrouwd was met Jan Jetten en ook aan de Schierbosweg woonde, en aktieve deelname aan het boerenbedrijf van haar dochters, konden ze het bolwerken. Toen haar enig
e zoon Hendrik oud genoeg was kon ie een goed bedrijf overnemen en tot verdere bloei brengen.
Willempje bleef al die jaren bij haar zoon Hendrik en Marrie op de boerderij wonen en nam aktief deel aan het gezinsleven. Zo werden haar kleinkinderen en achterkleinkinderen onder haar ogen en opgewekte natuur groot.
Op 92-jarige leeftijd, kort na een heupoperatie, overleed Willempje in het Diaconnessen Ziekenhuis te Meppel.
