    "Hille Butter, geboren 1891 te Volendam, overleden 1968 te Volendam.,
    dochter van Cornelis Butter (Kees van de Piel) en Grietje Schilder. (Geert
    van Jan de Mieter), Op 19 februari 1911 trouwde ze met Evert Veerman
    "Seek", zoon van Gerrit Veerman (van Tuis) en Maartje Keijzer (Maartje
    van Jan met z’n Beide),. Evert Seek was zeeman en beroepshalve dus weinig
    thuis; dat was één van de redenen, waarom zij scheiden op 14 april 1925.
    Het was waarschijnlijk de eerste officiele scheiding in Volendam. Hille was
    ook heel "belezen", iets wat in die tijd, zeker voor een vrouw, heel
    bijzonder was; haar moeder zei van haar: "Ik hew 'r ientje, die het letters
    ete!" Een wand van haar huis was volledig gevuld,met boeken en daarbij las
    ze drié verschillende kranten. Toen de televisies kwamen, was Hille een van
    de eersten, die er zich eentje aanschaften, want T.V. vond ze een prachtig
    medium voor het verkrijgen van informatie."
