Op 24-8-1921 stond hij in Rotterdam ingeschreven vanwege de afbouw van het tankschip 'Geheimrath von Lavale' op het adres Roentgenstraat 43 b bij Witjes. 24-08-1921 is tevens de huwelijksdatum en op de dag van het huwelijk is hij ook met zijn vrouw naar het schip, dat in Duitsland lag, vertrokken. Dit adres was vermoedelijk het woonadres van zijn vrouw, haar vader baatte daar een café uit. Op 7-9-22 was het waladres Nassaustraat 55 b bij Westervoorde
