    Ten jare duizend negen honderd en negen, den dertienden december te drij ure namiddag, verschenen voor ons Edmondus De Poorter, Schepen, afgevaardigde Ambtenaar van den Burgerlijken Stand der gemeente Bornhem, arrondissement Mechelen, provincie Antwerpen,
    Petrus Van gucht, mandenmaker, oud negen en twintig jaren en Judocus Peeters, brouwersgast, oud drij en veertig jaren, beiden woonachtig in deze gemeente, de eerstgenoemde zoon van den overledene en de tweede schoonzoon, welke ons hebben verklaard dat heden om tien uren en half voormiddag in het gasthuis, Statiestraat, alhier overleden is Henricus Van gucht, zonder beroep, geboren te Bornhem den negen en twintigsten augustus achttien honderd zes en dertig en daar woonachtig, zoon van Emmanuel Van gucht en van Barbara Weckx, weduwenaar Joanna Ludovica De Saeger,alle drij overleden te Bornhem, en van Joanna Philomena Janssens, overleden te Rumpst.
    Wij hebben ons van voormeld overlijden verzekerd. Waarvan akte, in dubbel, door ons ten Gemeentehuize opgemaakt, en na voorlezing geteekend door ons en de twee voornoemde verklaarders.
