    Het jaer achttien honderd een en zestig den negen en twintigsten october om tien uren voor middag voor ons Eduardus Van Roie, schepen, gedelegueerden ambtenaer van den borgerlijken staet der gemeente Bornhem, arrondissement Mechelen, Provincie Antwerpen, zijn gecompareerd in ons gemeentehuis:
    Franciscus de schryver, handwerker, oud twee en zestig jaren en Petrus Joannes Coeck, veldwachter, oud vier en zestig jaren, den eert genoemden halven broeder van den overleden & den tweeden gebuer, beide alhier woonagtig, welke ons hebben verklaerd dat gisteren avond om negen uren, Petrus de schryver, zonder beroep, oud vier en vijftig jaren, geboren & woonachtig binnen deze gemeente, ongetrouwden zoon van Joannes Baptista De schryver & van Maria Theresia Willaert, beide alhier overleden, in de wooning van den eersten comparant te Bornhem, ook overleden is.
    En hebben de comparanten dezen akt benevens ons geteekend, na gedane voorlezing.
