    Ten jare duizend acht honderd twee en tachtig, den zeventienden mei ten negen ure voormiddag, verschenen voor ons Matheus Van Mierlo, schepen, gedelegeerden Ambtenaar van den Burgerlijken Stand der gemeente Bornhem, provincie Antwerpen,
    Leopoldus Jansegers, landbouwer, oud drij en veertig jaren en Petrus Van Verre, herbergier, oud twee en veertig jaren, beide woonachtig in deze gemeente, de eerstgenoemde vader der overledene en den tweeden gebuur, welken ons hebben verklaard dat gisteren om elf uren des nachts in hare ouders woning alhier, overleden is Joanna Catharina Jansegers, geboren te Bornhem, den derden juli achttien honderd een en tachtig en daar woonachtig, dochter van den eersten Komparant Leopoldus Jansegers en van Julia De bruyn, beide in leven.
    Wij hebben ons van voormeld overlijden verzekerd. Waarvan akte, door ons ten Gemeente-huize in dubbel opgemaakt, en na voorlezing geteekend. de Komparanten hebben verklaard niet te kunnen schrijven, bij gebrek van geleerdheid.
