    Cornelius Bruyns, arbeider, oud vijf en zestig jaren, woonachtig in deze gemeente, welken ons verklaerd heeft dat op heden om twee uren 's morgens, zijne dochter Maria Ludovica Bruyns, dienstmeid, oud negentien jaren, geboren en woonachtig te Bornhem, dochter van hem Komparant en van Petronilla De Maeyer, overleden , in haer vaders wooning alhier, gelegen is van een kind van het vrouwelijk geslacht, hetwelk hij ons vertoond heeft en waervan hij verklaerd heeft te willen geven den naem en voornaem van Bruyns Joanna Philomena.
    De voormelden vertooning en verklaring gedaan ter tegenwoordigheid van Carolus Verleysen, schrijver, oud acht en zestig jaren en Ludovicus Josephus Van breedam, sekretaris, oud vijf en dertig jaren, beide woonachtig in deze gemeente.
    Waarvan akte, door ons ten Gemeentehuize in dubbel opgemaakt, en na voorlezeing geteekend met de getuigen, de Komparant heeft verklaerd niet te kunnen schrijven bij gebrek van geleerdheid.

    Waervan akte, door ons, ten Gemeentehuize, in dubbel opgemaekt en, na voorlezing geteekend, de Komparanten hebben verklaerd niet te kunnen schrijven bij gebrek van geleerdheid.
