geslacht van Oijen en Vorsterman. (XXVII, bl. 200, 418). De Nay. XXVI, 620 vermelde Walraad van Oijen, geboren oct. 1697, werd 6 sept. (16 juni ?) 1723 naar Schenkenschans (cl. Nijm.) beroepen, als zoodanig 27 oct. te Nijmegen peremptoir geexamineerd, en 21 nov. bevestigd door M. Elsnerus, pred. te Beek en Ubbergen. Hij schijnt te gelijker tijd Groesbeek bediend te hebben, want ook daar predikte hij afscheid. Was dit bij bizondere vergunning ? Of om, bij langdurige vacature, te Groesbeek in den dienst te voorzien? Den 26s'en sept. 1729 te Heemstede beroepen, en aldaar of nog den 27sten nov., Of in maart des volgenden jaars bevestigd,
overleed hij 17 juni 1735, oud ruim 37 jaar.
