De boeken over de periode van 1701 tot 1750 zijn verloren gegaan bij een brand in de pastorie van Wilp op 7 september 1781. Periode 1686-1701 Hiervoor is als uitgangspunt genomen het Begraafboek van Wilp R.B.S. 1600. Periode 1751-1811 Er zijn twee versies van het Begraafboek van Wilp over deze periode (R.B.S. 1601: 1750 - 1805 en R.B.S. 1603: 1751-1811). Als uitgangspunt voor de transcriptie van de periode 1751 t/m 1811 is genomen het Begraafboek R.B.S. 1603. Dit loopt van 13 oktober 1751 t/m 30 juli 1811. De tekst hiervan is enigszins aangepast zodat duidelijk is welke maand het betreft en is het woord “dito” vervangen door de naam van de maand. In de eerste kolom staat vermeld de overlijdensdatum óf de datum van overluiden (luiden van de klokken). In de tweede kolem staat de begraafdatum of in incidentele gevallen de datum van vervoer naar een andere plaats. Dit staat echter ook vermeld in de tekst in de derde kolom. Hoewel de gegevens van Begraafboek R.B.S. 1601 en 1603 sterk overeenkomen zijn er wel verschillen. Soms wordt bijv. in R.B.S. 1603 gesproken van het overlijden van “het kind” terwijl in R.B.S. 1601 staat “de zoon”. Dit soort aanvullingen zijn cursief toegevoegd aan de tekst zodat een zo compleet mogelijk beeld wordtverkregen. Jan Groenenberg 2010
