Bij de eerste 3 kinderen staat dat hij afkomstig is uit respectievelijk Arnhem, Nijmegen en Elden.

Ik begrijp de verwarring rond zijn afkomst; zijn ouders dopen in 1701 en 1702 2 kinderen, waaronder Dirk, in NG Zetten-Andelst. Dat ligt min of meer tussen Arnhem en Nijmegen in.
Alle andere kinderen, ervoor en erna, zijn gedoopt in Elden dat nu onderdeel van Arnhem-Zuid is. Waarschijnlijk hebben ze korte tijd gewoond in Zetten of Andelst.
