Helena Jacoba Knobbe was een dochter van Jan Willem Knobbe en
Helena


Jacoba van Haarlem. Zij werd geboren te Amsterdam op 12-12-1811. Haar moeder overleed op 16 oktober 1837 wonend in een schip te Grouw. Zij was geboren te Leiden als dochter van Abram van Haarlem en Sara Siewers en op dat moment echtgenote van Christiaan Heijers, een reizend kramer wonend in een schip.
Lodewijkus Johannes Voulon was geboren in Ter Idzard op 13-10-1811 als zoon van Johannes Baptus, muzikant te Jubbega en Grietje
Wietzes.
 Lodewijkus Voulon was ook een speelman wonende in de Compagnie van Jubbega Schurega en kreeg bij de bij hem inwonende Helena Jacoba Knobbe op 09-10-1836 een zoon Jan Lodewiekus en in Oudehaske een zoon Leendert op 28-01-1839. In dat zelfde jaar besluiten de muzikant Lodewijkus Johannis Voulon en Helena Knobbe tenslotte te huwen.
Verband tussen Helena Knobbe (en haar vader Jan Willem Knobbe) en de familie Knobbe afkomstig uit Belt-Schutsloot en later ook
uitgezwermd naar Friesland is (tot nu toe) niet te leggen.
