Jan kwam in WO II via Kassel (Dld) terecht in Wesenufer (OÖ) en werd te werk gesteld op de Brauerei. Wesenufer is een dorp van zo'n kleine 100 woningen (huisnummers op volgorde van ouderdom) en maakt deel uit van de Gemeinde Waldkirchen am Wesen
Na afloop van de oorlog is Jan in Wesenufer gebleven, getrouwd en overleden. Kort voor zijn overlijden is hij katholiek geworden om naast zijn vrouw begraven te kunnen worden.Jan Feiken is op 16 okt. 1947 verhuisd naar Oostenrijk Hij is vervolgens 2x in Nederland geweest.
In 1964 met echtgenote en hun 3 kinderen (tgv 50-jarig huwelijk van zijn ouders)De 2e keer met schoonzoon Helmut Kalinke bij begrafenis van zijn vader Albertus Feiken.
