Vader Klaas was aloverleden in 1882, dus hem is dit drama bespaard gebleven. Op moeder en omaAnke moet
het overlijden van haar dochter en haar kleinkinderen een diepe indrukachtergelaten hebben.

Waarschijnlijk zijn er bij de bevalling van detweeling allerlei complicaties opgetreden die zowel voor de moeder als dekinderen fataal zijn geweest.
