Jan is op 25 augustus 1639 te Desteldonk gehuwd met Elisabeth Kezele(Kesele, Keghele). Zij is omstreeks 1618 geboren en afkomstig van Desteldonk. Haar vader heet Pieter (+1632), haarmoeder Elisabeth Wae(l)laert. Ze is op 7 juni 1702 begraven te Oostakker.
