Alfons Stuyts (Nederlandse nationaleit) was een zeer verdienstelijk wielrenner.

Alfons Stuyts was een sterke renner uit het wielerdorp Hoogerheide. Hij werd beroepsrenner in 1935 en hij werd direct derde in het nationaal kampioenschap achter zijn streekgenoten Marinus Valentijn en Cees Heeren. Hij mocht ook naar het WK en hij bereikte daar een dertiende plaats. Hij bleef beroepsrenner tot en met 1948 en hij reed in dat jaar de eerste Ronde van Nederland mee. Hij werd 41e. Opvallend is dat hij in de oorlogsjaren zijn wieleractiviteiten staakte.
