Mathijs Adriaen Duijvelaar dijkgraaf van de vier Bannen van Duiveland had een grafsteen met 3 zeshoekige sterren. Dit is ook het wapen van Biggekerke.
      Sommige genealogen proberen de familie te koppelen aan de family Van Duiveland (Smallegange). Hiervoor bestaat geen enkel bewijs.
