Notes about Lowijs de LEPELAER

Op 15 september 1597 werd Loys de Lepelaer als poorter van Leiden ingeschreven, afkomstig uit Ronse.
In 1602 had Louweris Lepelare 1 getouw of gewan in Leiden.
Loys de Lepelaer was in 1599 getuige bij het huwelijk in Leiden van zijn broer Symon de Lepelaer en in 1610 getuige bij het huwelijk van zijn zoon Roeland in Leiden.
In 1601/1602 heerste er een pestepidemie in Leiden. Een niet genoemd kind van Louwys de Lepelaer overleed in 1602 aan de pest en werd op 15 januari 1602 in de Pieterskerk begraven. Ruim twee weken na het overlijden van zijn huisvrouw.
Hij hertrouwde op 18 mei 1602 te Leiden met Perine van der Vondere.
