    Theo Eijsbouts (1838-1907) kwam in 1871 in de gemeenteraad en was van 1875 tot zijn overlijden in 1907 wethouder in Asten. Zijn zoon Jan (1880-1940) volgde hem op. Deze zat in de raad tot 1939 (bron: Asten 800, 2012, pag. 159)
