Eerst getrouwd op 2 juni 1728 in Coevorden met een Geesijn Luicas, geboren rond 1700.
Daarna getrouwd op 14 september 1729 in Coevorden met een ongenoemde vrouw, geboren rond 1700.
Uit het tweede huwelijk zes kinderen:
• Gesijna Raterink, gedoopt 18 mei 1730 in Coevorden.
• Willem Jansen Raterink (IV·b), gedoopt 23 maart 1732 in Coevorden.
• Aeltijn Raterink, geboren op de Loo, gedoopt 23 mei 1734 in Coevorden.
• Arent Raterink, gedoopt 18 maart 1736 in Coevorden.
• Geesijn Raterink, gedoopt 20 augustus 1741 in Coevorden.
