Dirck eerste huwelijk in 1605 met NN van Assenburgh zijn tweede huwelijk in 1605 in Calais met Josijna Walewijns Christiaans dochter
Dirck was Mennoniet, hij vlucht van Hondschoten naar Brugges later naar Aardenburgh daar was hij bierbrouwer en burgemeester later ook koopman te Leiden,
later vluchte hij via Aix la Chapelle naar Leiden, waar hij rond 1572 arriveerde. Hij liet elk van zijn kinderen meer dan een ton in goud na, die hij als handelaar in Leiden verdiende.
