De weduwe Antje Sijmons Ran verkocht op 06-05-1751 land in Westergeest voor f 260,= (op hypotheek), op 22-06 1752 een huis in de Gasthuisstraat voor f 75,= contant, op 23-06-1752 land in de polder 't Kley voor f 835,= (contant) en op 03-07-1752 nog een stuk land Everste Koog voor f412,= (contant). Ze ontving dus ruim f 1400,= contant, waarmee ze de schulden wel zal hebben kunnen betalen. Het huis in de Gasthuisstraat stond op 21-08-1770 nog ten name van de erven Pieter Jacobs Verberne. Alles overziende kan wel gezegd worden dat Pieter Jacobs Verberne redelijk gegoed was een zeker een goede plaats innam in de Texelse gemeenschap althans die in Den Burg. Van burgerlijke (het was voor 1795!) of kerkelijke functies is niet gebleken.
