Bee Barricklow McWilliams has a census note about an entry in the 1900 census at Fort Smith, Arkansas that shows C W Barricklow, age 28, born in Kansas, October, 1871, who lived at 411 Garrison Ave with wife Clara age 22 and their son, Clarence D.,b. Oct. 1895, KS., age four. They had been married 6 yrs. Her birthplace is listed as "Seminole Nation". The word "Clerk" is written above his age. By 1920, Clarence D. Barricklow, 24, KS., was rooming at 1209 May St., Fort Worth, Tarrant Co., TX.

The 1900 Census index lists Charles W. Barricklow living in Fort Smith Arkansas on Garrison Avenue, house no 411. At that time he was 28 years old, married to Clara, age 22 whose birthday was December 1877, born in the Seminole Nation. They had a son, Clarence, age 4, born Oct 1895. A note says, "Prob(ably) Roy D's Fa(ther) & 1st w(ife). Another note, beside his name says, "Fa(ther) Ind(iana),
Mo(ther) PA".

He was a printer, out of work 2 weeks in 1910, working on his own account, able to read and write, renting a house with three other non-relatives.
