Amalasuntha (ook bekend als Amalasuentha of Amalaswintha) (d. 535) was een koningin van de Ostrogoten.
Als dochter van de Ostrogotisch koning Theodorik de Grote en Audofleda, de zuster van Clovis I, werd zij in 515 uitgehuwelijkt aan Eutharik, een Ostrogoot van de oude Gebiedslijn, die eerder in Spanje had gewoond. Haar echtgenoot stierf,naar alle waarschijnlijkheid in de vroege jaren van haar huwelijk. Ze bleef toen achter met haar twee kinderen, Athalarik en Mathesuntha.
