Hij woonde te Birdaard, maar vermoedelijk 1579/1576 op Doniahuis te Oosterend.
Oene was grietman van Hennaarderadeel 1570/1576 (opvolger van zijn schoonvader Sierck van Donia) en daarna grietman van Dantumadeel 1576/1580.
HEN 40-4 d.d. 1574: Oene Wytsma en Doedt Donya, echtelieden, kopen land te Wommels.
Zie voor hem HvF 16696-123, 191 d.d. 1575/1576 en ook HvF 16697-7 d.d. 1577 en HvF 16699-37 d.d. 1581.
Na 1580 met zijn vrouw balling buiten Friesland (C.E.), maar hij keerde later met haar terug naar Wytsmastate te Birdaard.
HvF 16702-468 d.d. 1588: zijn goederen waren verbeurd verklaard.
