Hij deed belijdenis in Overlangbroek in 1732. Was eigenaar van de riddermatige hofstede en boerderij De Roetert aldaar.
(Koop 1749, oppervl. 40 morgen). Demoed,98 zegt dat de Roetershofstede 36 morgen groot was. Hij werd in 1749 door G.H. Ungerer en diens vrouw verkocht aan de bewoner van de hofstede, Willem de Kruijf. Tot de koop behoorde tevens het
naastgelegen herenhuis de Roeter met vier morgen land. Dat huis werd toen bewoond door de emertitus-predikant van
Neerlangbroek - dominee P. van Vollenhove. Het huis, waarvan de naamsverklaring onduidelijk is, stond enigszins achteruit
en was geheel door een gracht omgeven.
