Na de HBS te Deventer werd hij employé van de Twentse Bank in Amsterdam, in april 1899 aangesteld aan de handelsvereniging in Soerabaja en in dit jaar procuratiehouder in Batavia.
15 maart 1902 Directeur Incassobank Amsterdam, 15 maart 1903 idem te Rotterdam, 15 maart 1918 idem Nationale Bankvereniging in Haarlem.
15 maart 1920 tot 1 jan 1925 Directeur Disconto Maatschappij in Rotterdam en daarna gepensioneerd.
Vanaf 15 maart 1927 firmant van Moll's Handelsvereniging te Utrecht, die okt 1930 liquideerde.
Hij was drager van het Mobilisatiekruis 1914-1918.
Warnar woonde laatstelijk in Zeist, Platolaan 68.
