(Cohen) Loreck, 54, of Cole Street, Seekonk, died on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island as a result of injuries sustained in a fall at her residence on Monday, July 22, 2013. She was the wife of Wayne P. Loreck to whom she was married on May 30, 1982.

    Born in Melrose, Massachusetts on April 11, 1959, she was a daughter of the late Paul I. and Louise (Giovino) Cohen and the stepdaughter of the late Myrna (Liner) Cohen. She resided in Seekonk for the past year having previously resided in Attleboro and North Attleboro.

    Raised and educated in Stoughton, Mrs. Loreck was a 1977 graduate of Stoughton High School and earned her associate's degree in practical nursing.

    She was previously employed as a licensed practical nurse. One of her favorite pastimes was creating crafts.

    In addition to her husband, she leaves twin sons: Daniel A. Loreck of Norton and Joshua L. Loreck and his wife, Amylynn Loreck, of Fall River; a granddaughter: Joslynn E. Loreck of Fall River; her siblings: Lisa (Horn) Marquardt of Atlanta, Georgia; Caron (Horn) Heller of Attleboro and Frank "Jerry" Cohen of Roslindale; her sister-in-law and best friend: Wanda J. Loreck of Webster and several nephews, extended family members and friends.

    A graveside funeral service followed by burial will be held on Thursday, August 1, 2013 at 10:00 AM at the Lincoln Park Cemetery, 469 Post Road, Warwick, Rhode Island with Rabbi Andrea Grouze, officiating.

    Family and friends are invited to attend an open house in her memory immediately following services until 7:00 PM at 54 Claire Drive, Attleboro.

    Memorial donations in Mrs. Loreck's name may be made to the Dyer-Lake Charitable Foundation, Inc., a registered 501 (c) 3 organization, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, North Attleboro, MA 02760 to benefit the American Diabetes Association.
