Thuiszorg had hier de huisarts meerdere keren op geattendeerd, maar de huisarts had hier niets mee gedaan. Marritje is toen met spoed opgenomen in Verpleeghuis De Plantage in Brielle.

    Begrafenis vond plaats in aanwezigheid van haar kleindochter, de auteur van de stamboom en de medewerkers van begrafenisondernemeing Marenatha, omdat er verder niemand kon of wilde komen. Haar kleindochter had eigenlijk niet willen komen.
