Béla III (?, 1148 - Székesfehérvár, 24 april 1196) was koning van Koninkrijk Hongarije van 1172 tot 1196 en kwam uit het geslacht van Árpád. Hij was de zoon van Géza II van Hongarije en van Euphrosina van Kiev. Hij volgde zijn broer Stefanus III van Hongarije op.

Béla III groeide op aan het Byzantijnse hof, was één keer verloofd en trouwde tweemaal.

Hij was verloofd met Maria Comnena, dochter van keizer Manuel I Komnenos van Byzantium. Ze verloofden zich in 1163, maar de verloving werd afgebroken in 1169.

Hij huwde een eerste keer in 1172 met Agnes van Châtillon (1154-1184), dochter van Reinoud van Châtillon en Constance van Antiochië.

Hun kinderen waren:
1. koning Emmerik van Hongarije (1174-1204)
2. Margaretha van Hongarije (1175-1223), die huwde met keizer Isaäk II van Byzantium en met Bonifatius van Montferrat
3. koning Andreas II van Hongarije (1176-1235)
4. Salamon, overleed jong
5. István, overleed jong
6. Constance van Hongarije (1180-1240), huwde koning Ottokar I van Bohemen.

Hij huwde een tweede keer in 1186 met Margaretha van Frankrijk, een dochter van koning Lodewijk VII van Frankrijk.
