Wordt in de haardstedenregisters in 1755 in het Westerse Rot en 1764 en volgende jaren in het Zuidwoldiger Rot vermeld; hij bezit een praam en is dus waarschijnlijk schipper en betaalt steeds normale bijdrage; hij wordt 28 september 1770 tot hoofdmomber benoemd over de kinderen van Jan Lamberts Hartman en Roelofje Sjoerts en 30 december 1773 tot medemomber over Lambert Hendriks Olde alias Lunenborg.
bij een afrekening inzage dit momberschap in 1788 wordt hi Derk Claas van het Hoge genoemd. Abuis of een alias?
