Na wijzigingen in 1939 werden de betalingen in maandelijkse uitkeringen omgezet en verhoogd. Na verdere wijzigingen in 1950 werden verhogingen van de kosten voor levensonderhoud toegekend aan degene die uitkeringen ontvingen.
