De informatie kan aan een volksteller zijn verstrekt door een willekeurig gezinslid of door een buurman. Sommige informatie kan niet correct geweest zijn of met opzet vervalst.

    In 1935 werd de Social Security Act door de FDR in werking gesteld en zijn er in 1937 meer dan 30 miljoen Amerikanen in het kader van economische zekerheidssancties geregistreerd.
