    TE HEEMSTEDE
    Men schrijft ons:
    Het Comité door „Kerk en Vrede" opgericht tot liet
    verleenen van hulp in de gezinnen van gemobili-
    seerden. heeft in December een aantal Sint-Nicolaas-
    en Kerstpakketten kunnen uitreiken, dank zij de
    ingekotnen giften.
    Er werd geregeld doorgegaan met het verleenen
    van huishoudelijke hulp, stop- en naaiwerk, oppas-
    sen en verzorgen van kinderen.
    Jammer genoeg kon echter niet voor elk afzonder-
    lijk geval een passende oplossing worden gevonden.
    Daarom doen wij nogmaals een beroep op allen,
    maar speciaal de dames-lezeressen in Heemstede,
    die een deel van hun tijd willen beschikbaar stellen,
    liefst met vermelding van voorkeursdagen en -tij-
    den en het soort werk, dat zij bereid zijn te doen.
    Hoe grooter reserve wij hebben, hoe gemakkelijker
    en doeltreffender wordt het werk.
    Daarbij nog een dringende oproep om financieele
    hulp. De kas is leeg en er zijn zoo veel gevallen,
    waarbij in een dringende behoefte moet worden
    voorzien. Aanbiedingen en aanvragen voor hulp, als
    mede financieele bijdragen worden gaarne inge-
    wacht bij den secretaris-penningmeester van het
    Comité: H. J. Blokker, Bronsteeweg 26, postreke-
    ning 227889, bij Mevr. J. Z. Visser-Brutel de la Ri-
