    Overleden aan tuberculose.De besmetting was afkomstig uit het laboratorium voor Tropische Geneeskunde in Leiden,waar Wim Duk (haar stiefbroer) werkte.Op Wims werk moest een muis worden ingeënt met de tuberkelbacil;een collega schoot met de injectienaald uit en spoot de vloeistof per ongeluk in Wims gezicht.Al snel werd Wim ziek,maar ook Corrie en Ton kregen de ziekte.Het hele gezin werd vervolgens onder controle gesteld bij het consultatiebureau.Voor Corrie was de ziekte fataal.

    De aangifte geschiedde op 5 mei 1930 door de begrafenisondernemer en Abraham Korenhof,oud 73 jr,zonder beroep,wonende in Leiden.
