In de huwelijksakte worden als getuigen vermeld Hendricus Roels, 23 jaar, koopman, broer van de bruidegom; Johannes Cameron, koopman, oom van de bruidegom en Eduardus Bergmans, 51 jaar, koopman, oom van de bruid.

Huwelijk gevonden in de klapper onder acte nr 77. Getuigen bij het huwelijk waren Hendricus Roels ( 23 jaar, koopman, broer van de bruidegom), Johannes Cameron ( 65 jaar, koopman, oom van de bruidegom), Eduardus Bergmans (51, koopman, oom van
de bruid) en Christianus Bergmans ( 49 jaar, koopman, oom van de bruid).
Herman is waarschijnlijk na 1940 overleden.
Volgens mededeling van Sjef Peters aan tante Wil zou het echtpaar Roels-Belet 24 kinderen hebben gehad. Er zouden er nogal veel op zeer jonge leeftijd zijn gestorven. Op het bidprentje van Bets is vermeld dat zij 21 kinderen heeft gehad.
Dit gezin heeft gewoond Zuid Molenstraat 30, verhuisde op 8-11-1932 van Glymusstraat 19 (woonwagen) naar Antwerpschestraat 56, vervolgens naar een standplaats aan de Zwarteweg en daarna naar Koning Willem IIIstraat 5 te Bergen op Zoom (daar in
een woonwagen op het erf van Van de Watering-houtzagerij).
Henk Franken noteert in zijn boek: "Koffiehuis/Hotel, voorheen Wijk F nr 1. (koopman). een lokaliteit aan de straatzijde van het pand Kortemeestraat 1. Nieuwe vergunning op 30-7-1920 op naam van Johannes Alexander Benner. Was intussen hotel
geworden. Logementvergunning voor Benner op 22-9-1920. Op 15-11-1923 heet het lunchroom "de IJsbeer" en is van Antonius Leonardus Cornelis Goderie".
