Hij is in ondertrouw gegaan te Steenbergen op 21 juli 1715, getrouwd aldaar op 4 augustus 1715 voor de kerk (RK), op 28-jarige leeftijd (1) met Dympna Jaspers van Leer, overleden te Steenbergen op 10 augustus 1718.

    Hij is getrouwd te Steenbergen op 1 december 1718 voor de kerk (getuigen waren Joanna Adriaensen en Elisabeth Vermeulen), op 32-jarige leeftijd (2) met Gertrudis Marijnissen Vermeulen, overleden te Steenbergen op 1 december 1721.

    Hij is in ondertrouw gegaan te Steenbergen op 15 april 1723, ondertrouwd aldaar voor de kerk (RK) (getuigen waren Joanna Adriaensen en Anna Schillemans), op 36-jarige leeftijd (3) met Maria Thijssen Bitterhoeck, dochter van Mathijs Bitterhoeck en Cornelia Marijnissen van Gorp.
    (Zij is later in ondertrouw gegaan te Steenbergen op 17 januari 1733 en getrouwd aldaar op 8 februari 1733 met Pieter Schoutens (37 jaar oud), gedoopt te Steenbergen op 29 januari 1696, zoon van Cornelius Adriaense Schoutens (landman in de Oude Heije polder Steenbergen) en Anneken Jan de Klerck. Zij is later in ondertrouw gegaan te Steenbergen op 28 juni 1738 en getrouwd aldaar op 13 juli 1738 met Marijnus van Akkeren. (Hij was weduwnaar van Anneken Putoor.) Zij is later in ondertrouw gegaan te Steenbergen op 12 november 1740 en getrouwd aldaar op 27 november 1740 met Jan Laurens Huijsman.) Uit dit huwelijk:

    Cornelius Backx, gedoopt te Steenbergen op 30 april 1725 (doopgetuigen waren Gerardus G. Bax en Cornelia M. van Gorp).
