Zoals wij reeds berichtten in deze "Indo China" zal de heer F. Scheers, directeur van N.V. De Wits Handel Mij. begin maart a.s. naar zijn vaderland terugkeren.
Zolang de heer Scheers directeur van bovengenoemde Maatschappij was met de aanwezigheid van iemand als de heer Huissen gedurende die tijd, was de inzet van de heer Scheers als een persoon die de organisatie kent binnen de handelskringen, het aanbrengen van vele veranderingen, zoals het terugdringen van hoge onnodige kostenposten. Chinese handelslieden werden bereikt en die kenden heel goed zijn kwaliteiten, uitstekend was ook zijn taalgebruik met de kooplieden en ook zijn medewerkers kenden zijn kwaliteiten.
Tijdens de Gemeente kandidaatsverkiezingen van 3 October 1921 werd de heer Scheers reeds aangewezen als kandidaat door het Indo Europeesch Verbond.
Wij hopen daarom dat dhr. Scheers hier terug zal keren om deze functie te aanvaarden en dat de directie van N.V. De Wits Handel Mij. In Amsterdam zich de kwaliteiten van iemand zoals de heer Scheers realiseert.
