(b) Dr. Jan Herman Adriaan Scheers, tot 1870 med. doctor te Nijmegen, geboren aldaar, 13 April 1823, studeerde te Leiden, gehuwd te Arnhem 6 Juni 1850 en overleden op den huize ”Andelshof” te Hees bij Nijmegen 18 September 1878, was de eenige zoon van Dr. Pieter Steffanus Scheers, med. doctor, officier in de orde van de Eikenkroon, overleden te Nijmegen 15 September 1866 en Maria Verheijen, overleden te Nijmegen 2 Januari 1833. De eenige broeder van Maria Scheers is Mr. Pieter Steffanus Scheers, geboren te Nijmegen 19 Februari 1857, gepromoveerd in de rechtsgeleerdheid aan de Hoogeschool te Leiden, 28 November 1883 te Nijmegen gehuwd met Petronella Hendrika Tulleken, geboren te Nijmegen 29 December 1862, dochter van Johan Burchard A dolf Tulleken, heer van Rijswijk, overleden te Nijmegen 12 Januari 1879 en Geertruida Wilhtelmina Noorduyn aldaar. (c) Cornelia Reyers, geboren te Arnhem 16 Februari 1830, is dochter van Zeger Reinier Alardus Reyers, wijnkooper, overleden te Arnhem 7 November 1835 en Maria van Embden, overleden te Arnhem 4 Januari 1874 en de kleindochter van Hendrik Hermanns Reyers, wijnkooper te Arnhem en Cornelia van Beest, en van Jan van Embden, burgemeester van Didam en Sibilla Mos. Een fragment-genealogie van het geslacht Reyers, aanvangend 1711, is in het familie-archief Van Ketwich aanwezig.
