Agatha Keijzer werd weduwe toen zij 46 jaar was. In 1944 bleef zij achter met 11 kinderen, waarvan de jongste nauwelijks 2 jaar oud was. De boerderij werd geleid door zoon Cor. Omdat geen van de kinderen belangstelling had het bedrijf over te nemen, werd in 1953 besloten de woning te verpachten. De verkoop ervan volgde 2 jaar later.
Haar tweede huwelijk, met Hendrikus Sturme, werd ingezegend door haar zoon Jan die twee dagen daarvoor zijn 1e Heilige Mis had gelezen in Lierop. Hendrikus Sturme was weduwnaar en had 9 kinderen die bij zijn tweede huwelijk allemaal getrouwd waren.
