Notes about Cornelis Johannes Schaapsmeerders

Cornelis was schoenmaker van beroep en heeft ook korte tijd een schoenenzaak (De Kaplaars) gehad in Apeldoorn. Hij is na zijn huwelijk een aantal keren verhuisd en heeft achtereenvolgens in Dongen, Rotterdam, Arnhem, Apeldoorn, Waspik en Uden gewoond. Hij is op 9 oktober 1918 in Dongen getrouwd met zijn eerste vrouw Maria Akkermans en na haar overlijden in 1936 op 21 januari 1937 in Waspik hertrouwd met zijn tweede vrouw Johanna Gerritsen. In Uden heeft hij (hoogstwaarschijnlijk) vanaf 1940 en heeft daar wederom een schoenenzaak en schoenreparatie gehad. Hij is daar ook overleden
Vermoedelijk is Cornelis Johannes na zijn huwelijk gaan wonen in Rotterdam, waar hij al zijn kinderen gekregen heeft (waaronder een doodgeboren tweeling). Hij had daar een schoenwinkel/schoenmakerij. Daarna is hij aantal keren verhuisd (o.a. naar Arnhem, Apeldoorn en Uden). In elk geval woonde hij lange tijd in Uden, waar hij ook overleden is. Hij had daar een schoenmakerij en hertrouwde na het onverwachte overlijden van zijn eerste vrouw op 46-jarige leeftijd.
