Pieter Harms Hofstede was baptized in Sluipwijk on 21 May 1780. He died
in Sluipwijk (Wijk a, huis 22) on 26 November 1841. He was a labourer (1828) and fisherman
(1829). He married in Reeuwijk on 3 May 1804 with Neeltje Volbregt. There is a Neeltje
Volbregt born to Gerrit Volbregt and Anna Pieters Jongeneel in Moordrecht on 22 June 1783.
However on her death in Sluipwijk on 21 August 1847 she is listed as the daughter of Gerrit
Volbregt and Janna van Leeuwen. No Gerrit and Janna van Leeuwen were found in Moordrecht.
In the 1829 census Pieter and Neeltje were living at Sluipwijk Nieuwerburg 43.

6. Petronella, b. Sluipwijk 21 July 1818. She married on 7 November 1839 with Bart Sterk.
7. Leendert, b. Sluipwijk 19 November 1824. He died on 12 July 1825.
8. Lena, b. Sluipwijk 14 February 1827.
