Vandaag [13 feb 2015] vond ik op wiewaswie dat Pieter militair geweest is, u kunt doorklikken en komt op familysearch, meteen linksboven nr 1099 en dan vindt u gegevens over zijn signalement, waar hij gediend heeft en in welk onderdeel, ook dat hij drie jaar krijgsgevangen was in Rusland en in 1815 terugkeerde. Dit is bijzonder, de meeste soldaten overleefden Rusland niet. Het is dus ook duidelijk dat hij in het leger van Napoleon heeft gediend. In Nederland kun je veel vinden in militaire stamboeken, het is niet duidelijk in welk onderdeel hij zat: 11e infanterie, eerder gediend Hollandsche Artillerie als canonnier overgenomen van 't bataljon infanterie van linie no. 3 waarvan de nummering wijzigde. In welk Frans legioen zat hij ?
Johanna kreeg in de tussentijd haar zoon Godfried van een andere man maar van wie ? Ze beviel met Jan Waning als getuige in de Tughthuijsstraat in Haarlem, Jan g/m Pieters zus Maria. Mogelijk woonde ze bij dit echtpaar en wie weet is Waning de vader.
