Bron Herman Beudeker:" De naam Buijtendijck, waarop ik jaren heb gezocht, blijkt een mystificatie te zijn.
Jannetgen Engelen en haar zuster Neeltgen Engelen (gehuwd met Cornelis Leenderz. den Baes te Monster),
zijn kinderen van Engel Engelsz. Cappiteijn en Elisabteh Cornelisdr. Dollen.
Jannetge wordt in 1644 vertegenwoordigd door haar man Davidt Lowijsz.
De vader is voor 20-4-1636 overleden,en was woonachtig in Zandambacht aan de Maasdijk.
Mogelijk komt daar de (bij)naam Buijtendijck vandaan.
Een en ander blijkt uit Weeskamer 's Gravenzande 9911 akte 3-5-1644 en Transporten 'sGravenzande 6294, fol. 195 akte 20-4-1636."
