    Het KNSM-monument in Amsterdam is opgericht ter nagedachtenis aan de 247 personeelsleden van de Koninklijke Nederlandse Stoomboot Maatschappij die tijdens de bezettingsjaren door oorlogshandelingen zijn omgekomen.

    Het KNSM-monument is een plaquette van witte natuursteen met in reliëf een liggende, naakte mannenfiguur. Hieronder zijn een vijftal gedenkplaten aangebracht met de namen van de 247 omgekomen zeelieden.
