Militaire dienst: Antonij werd op 12 maart 1831 voor 5 jaar ingedeeld bij het 5e Regiment Lichte Dragonders. Op 4 februari 1837 ging hij met onbepaald verlof.
Bij aantreden was hij 1 el, 7 palmen, 1 duim en 0 strepen lang.
Deed in 1831 mee in de Tiendaagse Veldtocht in België. Op 13 juli 1832 ontving hij hiervoor het Metalen Kruis. Was in 1832, 1833 en 1834 ingedeeld bij het Hollandse Leger ivm de opstand in België.
